Gordon McCall – Chief Judge

Gordon is the former Class Judge and Field Coordinator at the Pebble Beach Concour’s d’Elegance. He currently is the Co-Founder and Motorsports Director for the world-renowned “The Quail” A Motorsports Gathering, “The Quail” A Motorcycle Gathering, host of the Peninsula Classics, and Member of the Board of Directors for the California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation. McCall Events, Inc. continues in its 28th year of producing Gordon McCall’s Motorworks Revival Event at the Monterey Jet Center- the “Kick-Off” party for the world famous August automotive week in Monterey, California. This exclusive event entertains more than 3000 guests amongst private jets, vintage cars, and gourmet food.

Steve Fremgen

Owner of Coppa Bella Motors began working on Ferraris in 1982 in Monterey. With a move to the Bay Area, he worked at Ferrari of Los Gatos for many years obtaining factory training and serving as Chief Mechanic and Shop Foreman. Coppa Bella Motors performs service, repair, rebuilding, diagnostics and mechanical restoration on Ferrari sports and racing cars.

Don Coleman

Don brings world-wide experience to the concours including time as the Supervisor of the GT-40 Mark I program with John Wyer that won the Le Mans in 1968-69.

John Lackner

Daryl Brown

Daryl started working at Ferrari Los Gatos as a Tech, then transferred to San Diego ( Symbolic Restoration) to run the restoration shop and Race Prep. Daryl has been involved in many restorations of classic Ferrari’s including a 206 SP and multiple 275 GTO’s. Classic cars are his passion, Daryl recently went to Holland to visit the Louwman Museum and has taken the time to tour different factories including Lamborghini Ferrari Bentley Spyker and Rolls Royce.

Peter Miles

Peter Miles has kept his father’s love for motorsports alive in his own life.

After his father’s tragic death, young Peter went to work for his father’s friend Dick Troutman at the Troutman and Barnes custom car shop in Culver City, CA. He was there for 14 years, before moving to Precision Preperation Inc. in 1986.

Peter started as a fabricator, later advancing to mechanic and crew chief. He was the crew chief for off-road racing legend Ivan “Ironman” Stewart when they won the Nissan 400 four years in a row and may other races including the Baja 1000.

Peter Miles is a significant presence at car shows, especially in California, he is shown posed in the GT40 his father drove at Le Mans in 1966.

Danny Sullivan

Danny Sullivan earned 17 wins in the CART Indy Car World Series, including the 1985 Indianapolis 500. Sullivan won the 1988 CART Championship and placed third in points in 1986. Sullivan also scored a victory in IROC. A current Board Member of the Laguna Seca Foundation, he and his wife Brenda live on the Monterey Peninsula.

Ken Schley – Alternate Judge

Ken spent time SCCA racing in a Mini Cooper during the late ’60s (first race Santa Barbara airport), drove an Alfa Romeo in the Trans-Am series ‘71 and ‘72, Super Vee open-wheel series (Gold Cup) and SCCA National Championships ‘75 and ‘76. His drives today are a BMW 335 IS, a Ducati “Tri Colore” 1098 S for track days and his ‘69 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce, which he bought new in 1969 (spent 6 years from 2009 to 2015 bringing it back to life working with Glenn Oliveria at Oliveria Engineering in Berkeley, CA).
